Lord Hallbjorn Skjalda-Hrafnsson

I joined the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) in March of 2015. My first event was March 14th 2015. At the time of writing this i have been in the SCA almost 8 years, so that makes my SCA birthday March 14th. 

My first garb was a brown cotton bedsheet t-tunic with a leather belt, and a cloak made of green bed sheets which i still have. i was given the best dressed newcomer prize that night which was a pig ocarina. 

After that most magical night, i was hooked. I started and continue to live in the Shire of Appledore. It has been an amazing experience. i have met many people. i have many friends, some i would even call family. It's had it's up and downs'. 

I have been told by many that they credit me for bringing Appledore back from the edge of death. At lots of events i get pulled aside and people ask if i am that "Hallbjorn". to which i reply "yes i am".
