History:

Odai was born Force sensitive on the planet Tython during the days of the Old Republic. It was easy to tell he was different than the others from birth. Not much is known about the Drafan family.

At the age of 6 he started his training at the Jedi enclave on a nearby planet in the system. While there he learned from some of the greatest masters of his time. At age 10 having completed his initiate training he built his first lightsaber. He still has his first sabers crystal to this day. Shortly after turning 12, he was taken on as a padawan learner by a family friend, who happened to be a jedi archeologist and archivist who operated out of the local enclave. His name was Master Irek Besejo. He took Odai on many adventures throughout the galaxy. Teaching him as much as possible throughout their journeys together. He taught Odai everything he knows about being a teacher, an archeologist, historian, archivist, and much more. As Odai got older he became proficient with a lightsaber having mastered several forms before he became a knight. He was still working on the last three when he passed the trials. Having entered the trials a mere padawan learner, he left a full fledged Jedi Knight at the age of18. Thanks to his master and friend’s teachings, he decided to work in the Academy of Jedi Archeology for several years. 

Having learned all he could from the academy of archeology and having recovered several magnificent finds during his time there, he moved on and at the age of 20 took his first padawan. His name was Koddon Tunstha. After a few years of Odai and Koddon journeying throughout the galaxy doing Jedi work....there came a distress call from a nearby system. Odai and Koddon, being the closest to be able to assist, went to check it out.

At the age of 22 Odai was summoned to the capital to meet with the Jedi high council. There he was made a master in a ceremony for all his hard work over the years.

Arriving planetside on a planet’s unnamed moon, the two Jedi, went looking for the distress signal. What they found was a still smoking shuttle with bodies everywhere. Some were charred and others were freshly killed by blaster wounds and what appeared to be lightsaber marks. They both quickly activated their sabers, green blades glowing in the smoking field. They all of a sudden came under attack from the sides and from the front. It was a bunch of droids. 

After having cut them all down, both Odai and his padawan, slightly injured from the overwhelming blaster fire, turned to see two red sabers approaching from behind them. The padawan and his master went into a guard stance as the two darksiders attacked Odai. killing one After a few minutes of battling despite being injured, he managed to strike one down, however as he turned to assist his padawan, Koddon was electrocuted by the remaining darksider’s lightning. 

Odai, several meters away, rushed to his padawan’s aid, but before he could get there the darksider ran him through with his saber. Koddon fell to the enemy's blade before Odai could get to him. As Odai watched his padawan fall he stopped about three meters away from the darksider. Determined to bring his padawan back to the temple for a proper funeral, Odai charged the dark one. After furious saber combat between the two the remaining darksider lost his footing and Odai took the opening and cut the man down in one fell swoop. Tired and bloody, Odai ran to his fallen padawan just as another Jedi team arrived at the carnage on the field. Odai was 23 when that happened, And has never taken a padawan since. He blames himself for Koddons death some years later. 

Now at the age of 25 Master Odai is always looking for new opportunities to learn

The Trials from Padawan to Jedi Knight

Trial of skill

For Odais’ trial of skill he had to fight the temple battlemaster at the temple on coruscant. he was to last one hour against a variety of enemies before he could fight the battlemaster. After defeating as many as he could before the time ran out, he then had to make his way to the battlemaster. But first he had to prove his agility skills by going through a random course that was constantly changing. He finished the agility course and then had to break down a wall without being physical with it or destroying it. so he used the force to break it off its stands and then laid it down flat for a dueling surface where he fought the battlemaster. He passed that trial by using his force abilities to realize that he wasn't actually fighting the battlemaster, he was fighting a simulation of him while the battle master had monitored everything from outside the trial chambers. 

Trial of courage and flesh

For this trial the council sent Odai on a mission under the supervision of a council member. The council member stayed on the ship in orbit of a planet's moon and monitored everything closely. Because Odai was trained by a jedi archaeologist he was to retrieve an artifact held by pirates under the command of a dark jedi. Odai made his way through the jungle of the moon to find the camp of the pirates. He came across it within 2 days of landing on the moon. when he arrived at the camp he was spotted by a scout who had warned everyone. he entered the camp and was immediately fired upon by all the pirates, sustaining somewhat bad injuries he managed to carry on fighting through the hordes of pirates to the dark jedi's hut where Odai challenged the dark jedi to a duel of which if Odai won he could have the artifact and leave in peace. if he lost the dark jedi could kill him and take his ship. The 2 of them fought a massive battle in which Odai was terribly injured before he was able to wrap metal around the dark jedi with the force. turning it into a coffin of sorts with the top of his opponent's head showing. He grabbed the artifact and took the dark jedi with him back to the temple where the council declared he passed his trial of courage and flesh after having been shot and cut many times.

Trial of spirit

Odai took this trial by doing what is known as facing the mirror. he went into a deep meditative trance while his master watched over him as per tradition. he was in the trance for 3 days. he fought the darkest version of himself as well as other horrors. he emerged at the end of the third day drenched in sweat with a different look in his eyes after seeing what he saw. he was to tell the high council what had transpired which he did after hydrating and having a quick meal. Due to the ultra personal details of the test he was told to not share it outside the council chambers. after retelling all the details to the council he was told he passed

Trial of insight

For his final trial Odai went into the trial chambers where the simulation presented him with a horde of sith. Odai was to find the light within the darkness. Over the course of 2 hours Odai meditatively fought the sith through the force searching for something but for what he did not know. He opened himself up to the force. The force showed him a field of opponents surrounding him. within this field there was a humming not like a lightsaber. but something else more warm and familiar. He got up and simply walked through the sith who disappeared as he walked through them. when he reached the last sith standing, that sith turned into his friend. and with that his trial finished.
